Self-Serving Politicians
When I was a young boy, I quite used to enjoy watching World Championship
boxing.
I was not a keen supporter of the game in general - but I would watch
superstars like Cassius Clay (later to become Muhammed Ali) in their major world
fights.
I also liked watching the weigh-ins, when boxers would glare at each other,
and wind each other up by being rude and provocative - sometimes even attempting
to punch each other.
And then something happened - which put me off the whole sport.
And, at the moment, I cannot really remember which two boxers were involved.
They were at the weigh-in, and they were being absolutely foul towards each
other - calling each other all sorts of names.
Well. To cut a long story short, during the evening of the very same day,
they were both spotted at a nightclub together having a jolly good time. And they were clearly the best of friends.
All the aggression and the hostility that they had displayed toward each
other in view of the public was not real at all.
I had been fooled!
It was just play acting - in order to encourage ticket sales, and to make the
public believe that they really hated each other.
And then, as I got older, it became very obvious that wrestlers also employed
the same techniques.
Well. This is the very same game that our politicians play.
They pretend that they are hotly opposed to each other's
policies simply
in order to garner support from the public and to rouse them into supporting their
side. But the truth of the matter is that they are well aware that it does not
really matter which of them wins the elections: What really matters is that
the game continues to be well-funded and that they, themselves, will continue to
get a piece of the action.
But - getting back to the boxing - it did not really matter whether you
supported Cassius Clay or Joe Frazier. As far as the organism of boxing
was concerned provided that millions of people supported either one of
them the game was worth megabucks.
But if people had supported neither of them, the game - the organism - would have been
diminished.
Well. The same is true for most political parties - especially the big ones.
And the only way that they will diminish is if people do not vote for them.
If people really want to reduce the size, the burden and the imposition of
government in their lives, then the best thing to do is not to vote at all. And the lower is the turnout at elections, the less legitimate and,
ultimately, the less powerful, will governments continue to be.
I know that it goes against the grain of many responsible citizens - such as
many of your good selves - not to vote. One has a duty, after all, to give a
vote for democracy and to register one's opinions.
Well. The latter can be dispensed with straight away - because your vote
counts for virtually nothing.
Apart from the fact that its effect is even more miniscule than the chances
of a lottery payout, it is simply not possible to register one's opinion on
several complicated matters by casting one vote. And, as I pointed out recently, whichever mainstream party men vote for,
they are like turkeys voting for Christmas.
And, as far as having a duty to vote is concerned, don't kid yourself that
you are supporting a system that is worth preserving.
You are not.
The so-called democratic system of government that we have in the west is
failing men very badly indeed. And it is also not doing too well on many other
fronts. There is virtually nothing that government does that it does not make a
mess of - at huge expense, and with big, negative consequences for the entire
population.
Something has gone wrong.
And, fundamentally, it is this.
Instead of serving the people, those in government - especially in the higher
echelons - are very much serving themselves.
The evidence for this is now absolutely indisputable.
"John Major revealed that one of the disadvantages of being Prime Minister
was the "tasteless" lobbying from people wanting honours. He told how
he was often lobbied by prominent public figures angling for a peerage or a
knighthood when he was at No 10, and how much he disliked their behaviour."

For example, let me remind you that seriously ill people, many of them
terminally ill, are being denied access to drugs - such as marijuana - that
would alleviate their suffering considerably.
Many of these people are actually dying.
And you should think very deeply about the kind of monsters that would do
this to them.
And, basically, this utterly disgusting situation is occurring because
politicians - together with many of those who have a vested interest in
criminalising as many people as possible (and the pharmaceutical companies) - do
not wish to give up the goodies that the war on drugs brings to them. And they are
terrified that allowing seriously ill people to have such drugs will gradually
lead to a situation wherein they stand to lose something themselves.
Some of these people are clearly unfit to be part of the human race. And yet, somehow, they have ended up with significant power over us.
This is what democracy has turned into.
And whenever you vote for any of the mainstream parties, you vote for these
monsters. And, I might add, you are also voting for more feminism and for more
political correctness.
Furthermore, by supporting any party, people are, inadvertently, also supporting
the others. This is because by supporting any party they are supporting the very game
itself. And when it comes to government, the only game that it knows is the one that increases its size, and that increases the burden and
the impositions that it inflicts upon people - especially upon men.
For example, the rules, the laws, the regulations and the taxes just keep accumulating year after
year after year. This has been going on for hundreds of years!
The constraints, the controls, the burdens and the costs inflicted upon
people simply keep increasing.
Democracy has gone wrong.
In fact, it has been stolen - stolen by thousands of greedy people in the
governing elite who are doing precious little but serving themselves; e.g. see The Governing Elite
And the only way to get democracy back to what it was meant to be, is to take it
back right out of the hands of those people who have stolen it. And, currently,
this means not giving any of the main political parties your
support.
When it comes to voting, there is only one type of party that men should vote
for, in my view; one that has a serious determination to reduce the size, the
power and the scope of government; which, loosely speaking, means
a party that is clearly determined to reduce taxes and financial
impositions on average earners.
